High-Tech-Roughness

We have developed a new concept for surface roughness measurement. the result is a miniature roughness measurement device ‘MiniProfiler’ which lends itself for applications where only little space is available, e.g. inside cylinder bores. Despite it’s small size it features a reference datum with evaluation lengths up to 25 mm. The instrument will normally not be attached to a stand but put directly onto the workpiece. This provides a high immunity versus vibarations. The device is connected to the PC via a USB or bluetooth interface.

Pick ups for specific workpiece areas can for instance be fetched by a robot from a magazine. This flexibility saves a lot of cost.
