Visual Inspection

Available are standardised and customised instruments having the following common features

• very fast and non-contact inspection of large areas in one scan

The following standardised instruments are currently available:

Cylinder Face Scanner

It lends itself for the very fast automated surface inspection of cylinder faces. A typical application is the detection of scuffing and pores on coated surfaces and the honing angle measurement over the entire cylinder face.

 

Piston Wall Scanner

It was developed to scan the outside face of cylindrical workpieces such as pistons. It can detect and evaluate pores, scratches, defects and carbonised areas.

Using our innovative and reliable instruments for in-line quality control there is a provable production cost saving of up to 80%.
